Banker’s Lamps

The famous Banker’s Lamp was first patented in 1909 by Harrison D. McFaddin and was originally called an Emeralite lamp. The light traditionally had a brass base with a shade made of emerald-coloured glass, hence the name “Emerlite”. Being popular in banks and Financial companies led to them becoming known as Banker’s Lamps.
