Classic Wall Light Designs

Traditional Double Wall Lights

Our classic-style double wall lights provide ample lighting to illuminate corridors or brighten a certain part of a room. At Tiffany Lighting Direct we have several different styles of double arm wall lights, such as candelabras, double wall spotlights, and double wall lamps. Many of our double wall lamps come with traditional style lamp shades to create a soft ambient light for the room.

Antique Style Wall Sconce

A sconce is wall mounted candle holder, traditionally with an ornate bracket. Before electrical lighting was used, a sconce would hold candlesticks, but as bulbs were introduced into the home, longer-lasting and brighter bulbs and candle-shaped bulbs replaced candles. We have a variety of single wall sconces that are replicate the traditional sconces used in Victorian and early 20th-century period homes.

Traditional Uplighters

Many buildings in the 19th-century had ornate ceiling murals and borders made of plaster, so uplighters were used in period houses to illuminate these decorations. At Tiffany Lighting Direct we have a range of classic flush uplighters in various finishes including glass, ceramic and antique brass.

Bronze & Brass Wall Lights

Brass has been used for lighting and other homeware for thousands of years, and Britain was historically one of the largest producers of brass thanks to the wealth of copper that was found in Welsh mines. Being corrosion-resistant, easy to work with, and able to be coloured into rose gold made it a very fashionable metal for the Victorians to use.

In modern times, brass is still a very fashionable material for lighting. Many of our rustic lights use a brass finish to add a warm and vintage style finish to your home.
